Base pay range

$13.85/hr - $13.85/hr

PAY RATE: $13.85 per hour (up to 1,500 hours per year).

Eligible part-time employees will receive up to a $5.75 per hour retention bonus for all hours worked from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Click here for details.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Work activities primarily involve the maintenance of park grounds and facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The list below describes the general nature of duties only. Employee shall perform other duties as assigned.

• Perform grounds maintenance around picnic areas.
• Empty trash barrels.
• Pick up litter using a prod or by hand.
• Mow, string trim.
• Maintain and weed flower beds.
• Clean and maintain restrooms.
• Snow clearing and winter maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to load, unload, and move materials between work locations.
• Ability to traverse sandy, marshy, or wooded areas with uneven terrain.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work varied hours depending on park demands.
• Ability to get along with co-workers, supervisors, and park visitors.
• May be required to adjust schedule for organizational needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform essential duties.
