Job summary

Fort Bend County is seeking a part-time Gates Attendant to open and close park locations, monitor facilities, and help keep parks secure.

The role requires outdoor work in various weather conditions, a valid Texas driver’s license, proof of vehicle liability insurance, and a high school diploma or GED. Salary is $15.30 per hour for up to 29 hours per week; benefits are provided to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must have a Texas Driver's License that is valid and current.
• Must have proof of vehicle liability insurance.
• Must have a high school diploma/GED.
• Prefer someone who can follow instruction and work outside in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes gates at designated park locations.
• Checks buildings, locks doors, and ensures gates are secure after hours.
• May have access to a county vehicle and drive as needed.
