Job summary

The Woodlands Township is seeking a Part-time Town Center Ranger to work 20 hours per week, day shifts, with rotating schedules across the Town Center, Waterway Square and Town Green Park. You’ll help visitors, promote safety, and support park programs while providing a friendly, informative experience.

Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, basic maintenance, event setup, and documenting conditions. A valid Texas driver’s license and a High School diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year of experience and/or training.
• Texas driver’s license required.
• Successful completion of 20 hours of Town Ranger Program training.
• MS Office skills and familiarity with smartphone technology desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist visitors at The Woodlands Town Center, Waterway Square, and Town Green Park by providing information and directions.
• Inspect parks, restrooms, lighting, paths, and other facilities to promote safety and compliance.
• Perform minor maintenance and custodial tasks, set up/tear down events, and report vandalism.
• Prepare reports and keep daily logs; respond to emergencies and support park programs.
• Enforce park rules and Township orders in a positive manner.
