Job summary

Holy Rosary Catholic Church in San Antonio, TX seeks a part-time Bookkeeper to manage bookkeeping, payroll, and HR tasks for multiple parishes. Reports to the Operations Manager and supports financial functions.

Requires 3–5 years accounting experience and a Bachelor’s in accounting; proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Office is expected. Schedule is Mon/Wed/Fri 9am–1pm, 15 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or 3–5 years accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Provides Bookkeeping, Payroll.
• Writes checks and maintains parish checking account; reconciles with bank statements.
