Job summary

Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) seeks part-time instructors to join the regular pool for EMS paramedic courses. Instructors will provide high-quality instruction, grade and assess student learning, and collaborate with the Dean and colleagues to improve the learning experience.

Scheduling varies; openings depend on enrollment. Minimum qualifications include one year of clinical paramedic experience and NM paramedic license; preferred credentials include an associate degree or higher

Qualifications

• One year full-time clinical experience as a paramedic.
• Current New Mexico Paramedic license.
• Associates degree or higher in Emergency Medical Services from an accredited institution.
• Current certification with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
• Two years full-time clinical experience as a paramedic (preferred).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or PEPP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, teach, grade, and assess student learning in assigned courses.
• Create a quality learning environment for diverse learners.
• Maintain student records and comply with college timelines.
• Utilize technology to access/input student records and processes.
• Assist students with registration, advising, and graduation.
