Job summary

County Rescue Services in Green Bay, WI is hiring Paramedics for full‑time and part‑time roles. Paramedics work under supervision with rotating 24‑hour shifts for full‑time and flexible 12‑ or 24‑hour shifts for part‑time staff. Openings in quarterly cycles with evaluation based on staffing needs.

Earned licensure as a Wisconsin Paramedic and CPR certification are required, with CCT training preferred. A strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and continual education supports patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current State of Wisconsin Paramedic license is required.
• Critical Care Transport (CCT) training preferred but not required.
• Current CPR certification; ICS 100, 200, and 700 preferred.
• Valid driver's license and maintain driver eligibility requirements.
• Education requirements to maintain licensure/certifications.
• Previous 911 EMS and/or interfacility transport experience preferred.
• Successful background check; disclosures considered as required by law.
• Offers contingent on background, references, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provides Basic and Advanced Life Support to patients at scenes and during transport.
• Communicates effectively with health care and public safety staff.
• Assesses patient condition, plans care, intervenes, and evaluates outcomes.
• Operates emergency and non‑emergency vehicles safely per policy and law.
• Completes accurate patient care reports and required documentation.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and equipment.
• Stays informed of EMS regulations and adheres to them.
• Participates in training, continuing education, and QA/PI activities.
• Maintains positive relationships with internal and external teams.
