Job summary

The Town of Newburgh Emergency Medical Services is seeking a Paramedic to provide advanced life support and transportation for patients in pre-hospital settings in accordance with NYS DOH and regional protocols.

Responsibilities include delivering ALS and BLS care, operating TONEMS vehicles, documenting care, maintaining supplies, and adhering to OSHA and TONEMS standards while supporting other crew members.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and hold NYS Paramedic certification with ACLS/PALS and CPR.
• Valid NY driver’s license and ability to lift 250 lbs.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook; able to document patient care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support care per NYS DOH and TONEMS standards.
• Operate TONEMS vehicles safely and communicate with dispatch; complete documentation.
• Maintain equipment, participate in trainings, and support other crew members.
