Job summary

Town of Newburgh Emergency Medical Services is seeking a Paramedic to provide emergency medical care and transportation in the pre-hospital setting, following NYS and regional protocols.

The role requires ACLS, PALS, CPR certifications, NYS Paramedic license, and a valid NY driver's license. You will perform ALS/BLS duties, document care, and adhere to TONEMS standards. Work may involve challenging environments and shift work.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS Paramedic license and current ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and radios/phones fluency.
• Ability to lift up to 250 lbs and work in variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support care to all patients per NYS DOH and TONEMS standards.
• Operate TONEMS vehicles safely and document all care and EMS responses.
• Maintain equipment readiness, stock, and compliance with DOH/OSHA standards.
