Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; advanced education preferred.
• Current Montana Paramedic Certification or pending application.
• National Registry certification.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS certifications.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass drug, background, and physical agility tests.

• Operate defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide reassurance and information.
• Lead scene management and coordinate with team and safety personnel.

• Lift and move patients as needed for treatment.
• Coordinate with receiving facilities and provide critical updates.
• Drive ambulance, assist with navigation, liaise with dispatch.

• Operate medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to offer reassurance and information.
• Lead scene management and coordinate with team members and public safety personnel.
• Execute triage efficiently and provide patient care adhering to clinical and safety standards.
• Lift and move patients as needed for optimal treatment.
• Coordinate with receiving facilities and provide critical updates.
• Drive ambulance, assist with navigation, and liaise with dispatch to ensure prompt response.

Additional Duties

• Participate in community outreach to promote positive relations.
• Maintain communication with healthcare facilities and report interactions.
• Perform other assigned tasks as required.
