Ohio Justice & Policy Center seeks a Part‑Time Paralegal in Cleveland to support the Beyond Guilt Project, aiding parole advocacy and reentry efforts. You will help manage approximately 10–13 active client matters annually, coordinating records, preparing materials, and assisting attorneys.

The role emphasizes collaboration with attorneys, staff, and community partners, with strong organizational skills and a commitment to social justice.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or equivalent legal experience.
• Ability to manage multiple matters with timelines.
• Experience with client intake and case tracking is a plus.
• Commitment to social justice and working with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Support client intake, case development, and case tracking for Beyond Guilt matters.
• Assemble rehabilitation portfolios and assist with reentry and release plans.
• Coordinate prison visits and maintain relationships with housing/service providers.
• Assist attorneys with filings, exhibits, and parole materials.
• Participate in case strategy discussions and keep files current in Clio.
• Support outreach and internship activities as needed.
