Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to the communities of Clayton County and surrounding areas. The RN will provide individualized nursing care across all ages, using a team approach and MercyOne policies to guide care delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Use team approach to coordinate patient care at admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Deliver care guided by physician orders and policy.
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients and families.
• Maintain documentation in the hospital information system.
