Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a part-time Package Handler in Sioux City, IA to load, unload, and sort freight accurately and quickly. The role requires candidates to be at least 16 years old, with a high school diploma preferred.

You will work Monday through Friday starting at 4:00 PM, earning $18.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience. Key duties include unloading packages by hand, scanning barcodes for tracking, sorting by ZIP code or city, and stacking freight efficiently.

• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Part-Time Package Handler will load, unload, and sort freight accurately and in a timely manner to ensure quick delivery.

Hours and Wages

• Monday-Friday, 4:00PM start
• $18.00-20.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state
• Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
