Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a Part-Time Package Handler in Minnesota to load, unload, and sort freight quickly and accurately for timely delivery. The role runs Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, with a wage range of $18.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include scanning labels, sorting by destination, and efficient use of space in trailers. Basic duties include occasional custodial tasks and maintaining fleet appearance.

• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed.
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Part-Time Package Handler will load, unload, and sort freight accurately and in a timely manner to ensure quick delivery.

Hours and Wages

• Tuesday-Saturday, 6:00AM-9:00AM
• $18.00-20.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state
• Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed

Education and Experience

• At least 16 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
