Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker to unload packages, scan barcodes, sort freight by destination, and assist with loading trailers in a fast-paced facility. This hourly role offers a 18–20 USD rate based on experience.

Qualifications include being at least 16 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and strong verbal communication, time management, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state
• Stack freight into trailers and routes to maximize space and prevent damage
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image as needed
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Summary

Spee Dee Delivery is a family owned and operated company that was started in 1978 by Donald and Sylvia Weeres. Our core business is in standard, next-day, ground delivery. The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years we have expanded throughout the Midwest.

Hours and Wages

• Available Shifts:
  • Monday-Friday, 3:00PM Start
  • Tuesday- Saturday, 5:00AM start
• $18.00-20.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state
• Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
