Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a part-time warehouse associate to unload packages, scan barcodes, and sort shipments by ZIP code, city, or state. You will stack freight in trailers, help maintain vehicle cleanliness, and perform light custodial tasks to keep a safe, organized facility.

The role runs Tuesday through Saturday with a 6:00 AM start. Starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $24.25 per hour, depending on experience and internal equity. Benefits include a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to read labels quickly and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles.
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes.
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state.
• Stack freight into trailers and routes to prevent damage and maximize space.
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed.
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Hours and Wages

• Tuesday-Saturday, 6:00AM Start
• $19.00-24.25 per hour, based on experience
• The posted pay range reflects the compensation range for this position. Starting pay will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills and internal equity. Employees are generally hired below the maximum of the range to allow room for future compensation growth as they gain experience, develop their skills and demonstrate increased proficiency in the role. Compensation increases are based on applicable company policies, performance and individual development

Duties And Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state
• Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

• Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
