BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an extraordinary Overnight Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.50 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and depends on experience, licensure, and advancement through our leveling system.

Schedule: Overnight shifts from 8pm to 8am, every other Saturday and Sunday.

As an Overnight Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist, you will:

1. Greet clients warmly and make friendly eye contact when they enter the hospital.
2. Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
3. Be a compassionate listener.
4. Speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the phone to ensure clients understand.
5. Assess each client's needs and the pet's condition upon arrival.
6. Determine if an emergency is a "stat" or "standard" emergency.
7. Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
8. Confirm all appointments in advance and provide clients with accurate preparation information.
9. Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients with compassion and discretion.
10. Serve as a liaison during the handling of pet remains, ensuring a complete and compassionate process.
