Job summary

UNFI (United Natural Foods, Inc.) is seeking a retail associate for Cub Foods in Fridley, MN. You will help customers, stock shelves, operate equipment and keep the sales floor clean and safe, while ensuring accurate pricing and placement of items.

Shifts are varied and may include nights, weekends and holidays. The role emphasizes friendly service, efficiency and teamwork in a unionized retail environment.

Job Requirements

• Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.).
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Memorization, reading, writing and math.
• The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 16 years of age and older.

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions

Schedule

• Varied weekly shifts between 10pm-6am

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
