Job summary

The Clubs at St. James, located in Southport, NC, is seeking a motivated Part-Time Outside Golf Services associate to enhance member and guest experiences while contributing to golf operations. You will assist in clubhouse upkeep, event support, and guest services, ensuring a positive, efficient environment

Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends is required; healthcare and retirement benefits are available under Troon’s plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year of customer service experience or training.
• Flexible hours; ability to work weekends or holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clubhouse upkeep, cart storage, and parking areas.
• Set up and support golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide courteous service to guests (bag handling, club cleaning).
• Maintain cart staging, drop areas, and cart wash-down areas in order.
• Prepare golf carts for play following Troon Golf standards.
• Educate players on course/policy, pace of play, and related guidelines.
• Assist guests with equipment needs and club rental processes.
• Support food and beverage activities as needed.
• Clean clubs after play and maintain inventory of balls and gear.
