AdventHealth in New Smyrna Beach, FL seeks a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to join the Sports Med and Rehab team at the AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach Campus, 507 S. Orange St, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.

Responsibilities include supervising therapy aides, developing treatment plans, conducting evaluations, documenting progress, and participating in community education. Requires Master's in Speech/Language Pathology, SLP licensure or provisional, and BLS certification; Monday and Thursday

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology
SLP licensure or eligibility for provisional/pro Temp licensure
Good English communication skills and professional writing abilities
FEES training preferred

Responsibilities

Oversees care provided by therapy aides according to regulations and practice standards.
Maintains productivity and adapts hours to patient needs.
Provides clinical instruction and supports performance improvement initiatives.
Performs evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans.
Documents accurately using CPT codes and EMR systems.
Engages in community education and public awareness activities
