Qualifications

• Graduate of a bachelor’s level program in Physical Therapy from an APTA accredited program.
• Physical Therapy licensure in the State of Nevada or current interim permit.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Preferred: Experience working with adult/geriatric/general population; Ortho and Stroke experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in Physical Therapy services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease.
• Examines patient's medical history, evaluates their physical abilities, determines their potential to respond to therapy and develops treatment plans.
• Supervision of the Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) and technicians in delivery of Physical Therapy services.
• Educates patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.
