Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a bachelor’s level (or higher) program in Physical Therapy from an APTA accredited program.
• Physical Therapy licensure in the State of Nevada or current interim permit.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in Physical Therapy services to restore function and mobility.
• Examines medical history, evaluates abilities, and develops treatment plans.
• Supervises PTAs and technicians in delivery of Physical Therapy services.
• Educates patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Maintains compliance with Nevada State Practice Act and professional standards.
