In this role you will work with patients who have difficulty performing work and daily living activities due to illnesses, injuries and disabilities, providing evaluation and treatment. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• OT license for work state required.
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) or CPR preferred; must obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a wide variety of patient types and identify dysfunction to guide treatment.
• Performs initial evaluation and establishes treatment plan from evaluation.
• Review medical records and consult attending physician as needed.
• For each diagnosis, selects appropriate tests and outcome measures.
• Set functional goals with patient and families and include them in planning.
• Coordinate treatments with interdisciplinary services as needed.
• Document care and progress thoroughly and timely.
