Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE‑accredited program.
• OT license for work state required; BLS certification preferred/required within 3 months of hire.
• Strong communication, time management, organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a wide variety of patient types and identify functional deficits to guide treatment.
• Develop and implement patient-specific OT treatment plans and goals.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner.
• Provide patient education to facilitate rehabilitation and safety awareness.
• Bill for therapy sessions accurately to reflect services provided.
• Supervise and guide OT students and participate in teaching activities.
• Participate in program development, marketing input and community education as needed.
• Ensure age-appropriate care and adherence to department policies and standards.
