Penn Medicine is recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider (CRNP/PA-C) to deliver direct clinical care in the outpatient setting. You will work under established guidelines, collaborate with a physician, and contribute to education and leadership within the team.

The role emphasizes commitment to evidence-based practice, documentation in the EHR, and participation in quality improvement while precepting students and learners. This is a .3 FTE position based at our Philadelphia site.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree is required for the APP role.
• CRNP must have Master’s or DNP and >2.5 years experience.
• PA-C must have Master’s and >2.5 years experience.
• National Board Certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct clinical care for patient population according to established protocols and evidence-based practice in collaboration with team.
• Maintains accurate and confidential medical records in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Identifies self to patient and clarifies the NP/PA role within the team.
• Functions within scope and refers to collaborating physician when outside scope or at patient/family request.
• Participates in performance improvement processes to meet quality of care standards.
• Demonstrates professional responsibility as a role model to peers and health care team.
• Precepts students and other health care learners.
