Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a part-time (0.5 FTE) Nurse Practitioner to join the Medical Oncology Team in Lancaster, PA. This role blends outpatient oncology care with evening and weekend coverage, following a four-week rotating schedule to expand access to oncology services.

The ideal candidate holds a PA CRNP license with prescriptive authority, ANCC Acute Care NP certification, ACLS, and at least two years of NP experience in oncology or acute care.

Qualifications

• Valid CRNP license and prescriptive authority in Pennsylvania.
• ANCC certification in area of specialty (Acute Care NP).
• PA RN license current.
• ACLS certification required.
• Two years NP experience preferred.
• Oncology or acute-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical care for oncology patients during daytime clinic and during evening/weekend coverage.
• Evaluate and manage acute oncology concerns and coordinate escalation of care when indicated.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, pharmacy, radiology, infusion services and other members of the oncology team to ensure timely patient care.
• Support infusion center operations and ensure safe administration of treatments during extended hours.
• Rotate through a four-week schedule with evening/weekend rotations and daytime clinic weeks.
