Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in Saco, ME seeks a part-time Outbound Dockworker to safely move freight on and off trailers and verify documentation using electronic and manual systems. Prior forklift experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience in warehousing, freight, or logistics preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading freight on trailers using appropriate equipment – forklift or electric pallet jack
• Picking, staging, and securing freight inside trailers to insure safe transport
• Utilizing document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal
• Communicating with terminal personnel and drivers
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including but not limited to day and night shifts, weekends and or holiday work
• Operating with a customer service first mentality
