Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join a dedicated orthopedic program at Meridian Health Plaza. The APP will co-manage patients with the shoulder surgeon, including follow-up and postoperative care, and may assist in surgery to optimize clinic capacity and patient access.

Requirements include an Idaho PA/NP license, active DEA/Idaho controlled substance registrations, and a drive to grow a multi-specialty service.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in Idaho.
• Valid controlled substance registrations (Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA).
• Willing to support orthopedic clinic and postoperative care.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage orthopedic patients with primary surgeon.
• Order, interpret labs and imaging; develop treatment plans.
• Perform pre-op histories and physicals.
• Assist in surgery as needed.
• Manage both acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide postoperative follow-up and clinic visits.
