Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) in Idaho is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to support an orthopedic program at Meridian Health Plaza. The candidate will perform joint injections, casting, pre-operative evaluations, surgical assisting, and postoperative follow-up, primarily for clinic patients with optional OR support.

Requirements include Idaho PA/NP license, Idaho controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA, and a commitment to growing a

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho.
• Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
• A strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multispecialty medical group.
• You will obtain Idaho medical licensure to maintain and strengthen the Health System's internal program across communities.

Responsibilities

• management of both acute conditions as well as chronic, non-surgical conditions
• ordering, interpreting and evaluating laboratory and diagnostic data, prescribing medications, and developing a treatment plan
• The qualified candidate will exude passion about orthopedic health issues and demonstrate evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills and problem-solving abilities
• The provider must hold a valid controlled substance registration with both the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and the DEA
