Plymouth Meeting Family Dental, part of Heartland Dental, invites an Oral Surgeon to join their team in East Norriton, PA, on a part-time basis (Mondays or Fridays). You will work with a skilled on-site team and benefit from Heartland Dental's extensive resources and referral network to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating oral/maxillofacial conditions, performing extractions, implants, bone grafting, and developing treatment plans.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of a 4-6 year CODA-accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency.
• Active and unrestricted dental license and ability to administer anesthesia.
• Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Willingness to credential with various dental insurance plans.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region.
• Perform surgical procedures including extractions, implants, bone grafting.
• Develop and present comprehensive treatment plans for surgical cases.
• Collaborate with general dentists and specialists for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on procedures, options and post-operative care.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Administer local or general anesthesia.
• Follow state dental board rules, HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
