42North Dental in Pennsylvania seeks a part-time Dentist to lead the patient experience from initial exam through treatment, offering in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• State license to practice dentistry is current.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is documented.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

BLS or CPR certification
