The Surgery Center of Fairbanks is a busy, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center serving patients throughout interior Alaska. We seek an OR Nurse for 8-hour shifts with no call, offering part-time or PRN hours from Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with no nights or weekends.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or GED.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• RN with active Alaska license.
• 1+ year operating room experience.
• CPR certification.
• Leadership qualities.
• Strong ethics and moral character references.
• English communication skills for written/interpersonal/telephonic use.

Responsabilidades

• Participates as a team member in support of the total perioperative process.
• Organizes time, equipment, supplies, and personnel to provide effective and efficient case management.
• Supervises and directs patient care in a single operating room.
• Organizes nursing activities efficiently and effectively and delegates appropriately.
• Maintains aseptic technique and patient safety throughout procedures.
• Documents patient care records accurately and communicates with the perioperative team.
