Cape Optical in East Wareham, MA seeks an Associate Optometrist to join a trusted, family‑style private practice with 25+ years serving the South Shore. You’ll deliver full‑scope, patient‑centered eye care in a collaborative team using advanced diagnostic tools.
The position is 20–32 hours weekly, with 15–20 patients per day and room to grow. Required: OD degree, MA license with Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents, glaucoma privileges, and Massachusetts Optometrist Controlled Substance
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution.
- Massachusetts Optometry License with Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents certification.
- Glaucoma treatment privileges and Massachusetts Optometrist Controlled Substance Registration.
Responsibilities
- Provide full‑scope, patient‑centered eye care in a collaborative practice.
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses.
- Fit specialty contact lenses and manage ocular conditions such as glaucoma and dry eye.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to support data‑driven care and patient experience.
