Job summary

Target Optical in Algonquin, IL seeks an Associate Optometrist (OD) for a part-time role. You will provide high-quality eye and vision care, diagnose, treat and manage diseases of the visual system, and lead in a busy practice.

You will work with store leadership to deliver excellent patient experience, follow clinical protocols, and maintain office quality systems. Licensed optometrist in IL, DPA/TPA certified, and knowledge of current optometric technology preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School or College of Optometry.
• Licensed to practice Optometry in the State of Illinois.
• DPA and TPA certified.
• Knowledge of current optometric technology and practices.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and listening.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality optometric care and services to patients.
• Establish a positive doctor/patient relationship.
• Follow clinical protocols and standard of care.
• Deliver accurate diagnoses and recommendations.
• Utilize technology to enhance patient experiences.
