This role offers a flexible schedule with per patient options or collection percentage pay. All positions are 1099 independent contractor roles.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current state optometry license in good standing.
• Experience working with geriatric populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for nursing home residents.
• Diagnose and manage common eye conditions.
• Prescribe eyeglasses as needed.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Educate patients on eye health.
• Follow VA policies and HIPAA regulations.

Strong clinical diagnostic skills
