Job summary

Warby Parker and an affiliated independent optometry practice in California are seeking a patient-focused Part-Time Optometrist to join a team adjacent to a Warby Parker store. You will practice under the clinical direction of supervising optometrists and deliver high-quality comprehensive eye care.

You’ll work with a supportive team, use modern EMR tools, and help grow the eye exam business while maintaining accurate medical records and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Licensed Doctor of Optometry in California, in good standing.
• Part-time availability with reliable schedule flexibility.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations.
• Partner with the store team to create an exceptional patient experience and grow the eye exam business.
• Prescribe eyewear, contacts, and eye health solutions tailored to each patient’s needs and educate options.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of examinations and treatments in compliance with standards.
• Maintain State Licensure in good standing and complete Continuing Education requirements.
