Job summary

EssilorLuxottica’s Pearle Vision in Derwood, MD is seeking a part-time Associate Optometrist to deliver NECE and lead patient care. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to maintain a safe, motivating work environment and ensure top-quality eyecare for patients.

In this role you will greet patients, perform exams per clinical protocols, ensure accurate diagnoses and recommendations, and mentor Associate Doctors and staff to uphold Pearle standards and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry required and practicing licensure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NECE and lead patient care execution.
• Greet patients and assist with phone inquiries as needed.
• Perform exams per clinical protocols and standards of care.
• Provide accurate diagnoses and appropriate recommendations.
• Develop doctor and staff through coaching on protocols.
• Collaborate with store team to ensure seamless eyecare experience.
