America's Best, part of National Vision, Inc., seeks an Optometric Technician - Medical Assistant for a part-time role. You will support the optometrist with pre-screenings and testing, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate preliminary exams. No prior certification required; training provided.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail in patient data and paperwork.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail optical setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interactions.
• Willingness to learn optical concepts and terminology.
• Retail/optical experience is a plus but not required.

Aufgaben

• Ensure high quality patient care.
• Maintain professional office and pre-test areas.
• Understand ocular terminology and procedures.
• Explain preliminary examinations to patients.
• Complete paperwork and perform pre-exam testing.
• Promote retinal screenings and visual field testing.
• Review patient prescriptions and information for special needs.
• Maintain Doctor’s and pre-test equipment.
