National Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician - Medical Assistant (Part-Time) for America’s Best locations. You will support pre-testing, patient flow, and screenings before the doctor’s examination, with training provided. No prior optical experience is required; the role emphasizes learning, professionalism, and strong patient care in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality patient care.
• Maintain a professional atmosphere in the doctor’s office and pretest room.
• Explain preliminary examinations and ocular terminology to patients.
• Complete paperwork and perform testing prior to doctor examination.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings to eligible patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information, consulting with the optician or doctor as needed.
• Maintain equipment for both doctor and pre-test areas.
