Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist surgery team with direct/indirect patient care and sterile procedure setup.
• Maintain a safe, orderly patient care environment in surgery.
• Demonstrate competency with equipment, including autoclave and sterile technique.
• Supply OR with stock items and assist with room turnover and disinfection.
• Respond to emergencies per established procedures.
• Contribute to learning via mandatory in-services and ongoing development.
• Communicate observations to the Registered Nurse and follow directions.
• Respect patient privacy and confidentiality.
