Qualifications

• At least two years of RN clinical practice.
• Background check required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, peers, supervisors, and staff.
• Preferred: online teaching experience; competency-based education experience.

Responsibilities

• Under the course lead faculty, provides online instruction for RN-BSN program.
• Maintains regular, substantive interaction with students.
• Provides feedback on formative and summative assessments within the term.
• Maintains regularly scheduled virtual office hours.
• Communicates progress to the course lead regarding objectives.
• Contributes to nursing program development through meetings and projects.
• Submits course materials and evaluations to the departmental office.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and mandatory faculty events.
