RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Pharmacist II at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. This part-time role focuses on advanced oncology and MS therapies, sterile compounding, and inpatient/outpatient care.

The pharmacist will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective medication use and regulatory compliance. An active NJ Pharmacist license, PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, and at least 1 year in IV sterile compounding and oncology are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy with PharmD or BS in Pharmacy.
• Active New Jersey Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year IV sterile compounding and oncology pharmacy experience.
• Proficient in EPIC and Beacon electronic health record systems.
• Part-time schedule: 20 hours per week, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, with holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

• Manages sterile compounding of chemotherapy, hazardous, and non-hazardous meds.
• Evaluates oncology and MS therapies to ensure appropriate patient care.
• Prepares, dispenses, and monitors inpatient and outpatient medications.
• Exerts independent judgment to resolve complex clinical issues.
• Uses EPIC and Beacon efficiently for patient care and documentation.
• Consults with oncology/MS teams to support multidisciplinary care.
• Adheres to legal, regulatory, and hospital standards for compounding.
• Monitors patient responses to complex regimens and outcomes.
