Job summary

Grafton Integrated Health Network is seeking a Mental Health Technician (MHT) for the Children & Adolescence program on a part-time, on-site basis in Berryville, Virginia. The MHT will participate in direct care, implement treatment plans, and provide supervision and safety for clients.

The role focuses on building positive relationships, using trauma-informed approaches, and coordinating with the treatment team to promote client education and residential goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus six months of direct care experience with children/adolescents OR
• Associates degree plus three months of direct care experience OR
• Bachelors degree in Human Service field

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on direct care and supervision to clients.
• Document client behavior, participation, and services delivered.
• Maintain safety, crisis management, and adherence to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with treatment teams and guardians to support client goals.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associates degree in Human Services or related field

Bachelors degree in Human Service field
