Job summary

Monmouth University’s School of Education seeks a Clinical Faculty Supervisor to provide field supervision of student teachers across subject areas. This in-person, on-campus position supports the university’s teacher education program and collaborations with local school districts.

This role requires a Master’s degree, three years of permanent certified experience, and permanent certification in the supervision content area as issued by the New Jersey Department of Education or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Master's degree; Three years of permanent certified experience in the area(s) of certification.
• Permanent certification in the content area of supervision as issued by the New Jersey Department of Education or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Available for in-person observations during school district hours.
• Recent experience supervising, consulting, or otherwise working in schools in contact with classroom teachers.

Responsibilities

• Provide field supervision of student teachers in the areas of mathematics, science, Spanish, special education, English, social studies, art or music.
