Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• Two years post-graduate experience preferred.
• Teaching experience in higher education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction during weekly in-person classes on the Richmond, VA campus.
• Utilize Canvas LMS for course materials and submissions.
• Prepare weekly lesson plans to facilitate effective learning.
• Hold weekly office hours to support students.
• Engage with students using strong written and oral communication.
• Provide timely feedback and grades to students.
• Fulfill additional duties as required while teaching in the programs.
• Adhere to VCU and School of Social Work policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate respect, professionalism, and civility with a diverse population.
