Job summary

Manville School District is seeking a Substitute School Bus Driver for a part-time role in New Jersey. The driver will safely transport students to events, follow routes and safety rules, and serve as on-call support for regular drivers.

Requirements include a valid CDL with School Bus endorsements, flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the ability to pass background and health checks. Prior school transportation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL with School Bus endorsements.
• Minimum safe driving experience as determined by the Board.
• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency.
• Ability to meet physical health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports students to and from school events and routes.
• Adheres to routes, schedules and safety regulations.
• Maintains order and safety of students on the bus.
• Performs daily vehicle checks and reports mechanical issues.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Business Administrator.
