City of Pueblo is seeking a non-exempt, part-time employee to support Pueblo RecycleWorks under the Public Works Director. This role is limited to 1300 hours annually and may involve unskilled and semi-skilled tasks, including collection and disposal of refuse, and operating equipment in maintenance, construction, or utility tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check including an MVR.
• Non-exempt, part-time position limited to 1300 hours annually.
• Currently, this position is on-call/as-needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pueblo RecycleWorks site operations, including yard clean-up and equipment maintenance.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and educating customers on materials accepted.
• Safely operate hand and power tools such as push mowers, weed eaters, chain saws, rakes, shovels, and loppers.
• Clean, maintain, and service equipment and tools.
• Perform duties and special projects as assigned.
