Job summary

The Arbor at Berkeley is seeking skilled and compassionate Caregivers to serve residents in our Berkeley community. This role provides support with daily living, mobility, dining, and observation, ensuring comfort and safety while maintaining dignity and respect for residents.

The Caregiver will work closely with nursing staff and leadership, document care accurately, and participate in infection control and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior caregiving experience in senior living or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and transportation.
• Assist during meals and dining setup.
• Observe residents and report changes to the nurse or supervisor.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Promote a clean, safe, and respectful living environment.
• Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies.

The Arbor at Berkeley is seeking skilled and compassionate Caregivers to serve their residents. Currently, part-time and on-call opportunities for a Med Tech are available on every shift. A qualified candidate can expect a wage of $21.00-22.00/hour, plus full-time benefits. Job posting will remain open until all positions are filled.The ideal candidate is attentive, patient, professional, and committed to delivering excellent care and customer service to seniors.Position SummaryThe Caregiver is responsible for supporting residents with personal care, daily routines, mobility, dining assistance, observation, and overall comfort.
