Job summary

The Arbor at Berkeley seeks a skilled Medication Technician to administer medications and support residents. Part-time and on-call shifts available on every shift, with wage range $24.00–$25.00/hour and full-time benefits. The posting remains open until all positions are filled.

Must hold a state-approved Medication Aide license, high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to perform essential duties including accurate documentation and adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Licensed Medication Aide with state-approved training.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform required physical tasks.
• Ability to document and report medication administration accurately.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies governing medication administration to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Develop and implement procedures to identify and prevent medication errors.
• Complete forms, charts, and reports as required.
• Maintain professional relations with Health Services staff and physicians.
• Report resident complaints to the Health and Wellness Director.
• Participate in facility surveys and QA programs related to medications.
• Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications as ordered.
