Havertys is seeking a bright, energetic Part-Time Office Assistant to join our Havertys Team. Office Team Members support customer service in our retail locations by handling sales, payments, phones and deliveries, always focusing on service, integrity, quality and teamwork.

This role starts at $15 per hour, with potential for more with experience. Nights and weekends are required; stores are open 10am–7pm Monday–Saturday and 12pm–6pm Sunday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years customer service experience (retail preferred).
• 1–3 years cash handling experience (banking, data entry, office administration) or equivalent.
• General computer skills; MS Word, Excel, and O365 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer sales and payments.
• Answer phones and schedule deliveries.
• Balance cash fund morning and evening.
• Prepare and reconcile bank deposits.
• Maintain an organized and secure office.
• Handle customer complaints and follow up on tickets.
• Review outstanding customer transactions.
• Verify and schedule deliveries; ensure orders are ready.
