Job summary

Patapsco Healthcare, a leading provider of post-hospital, short-stay nursing and rehabilitation services, is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our interdisciplinary clinical care team in Randallstown, MD.

As an OTA, you will assist therapists, conduct sessions, monitor progress, and document outcomes while collaborating with nurses, physicians and other therapists. An Associate's degree and MD licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in occupational therapy Assistance.
• Current certification in Occupational Therapy Assistance.
• 1 year of experience required (recent graduates welcome to apply).
• Licensure in the State of Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct occupational therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and assessments, under supervision.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Utilize assistive technology and modalities to support patient rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment plans.
• Participate in in-service training and professional development opportunities.
